Hello Mrs Mclachlan, I think my answer would be yes because at school or in New Zealand for pacifica they do dancing and that is celebrating Samoan. And also we have celebrated Samoan language week so I think yes.

I think we should celebrate Cook Island Maori Language week because I think it is important to know all of the cultures in NZ.Most of my family speak Cook Island Maori but if they didn't we would all forget how to speak it and that would be horrible. It is important to me, because it is part of who I am and I think it would be boring if we all only spoke English.
Hello Taurae I agree Because When you celebrate a new country's launguage it means you can talk to them In another launguage and It is better to understand what someone is saying so I think my final awnser is Yes because it is awesome and you get to understand the person that speaks another launguage and you can know more of that launguage and it means you can learn other country's launguage's and you could speak lots of different words to other people so you could keep practicing the words.
